HR BAR 3 RANCH is owned and operated by Lindsay and Lee Alexander in San Saba County, Texas. We are a cow-calf operation raising Angus cattle with predominantly a commercial herd, and a small registered herd.
Lindsay was raised in the cattle industry and has always had a passion for promotion of beef and the education of producers and consumers. Lee has a family history deeply rooted in the ranching culture. Together they are working with their four daughters to grow the regenerative aspects of the business and their future in agriculture.
“In January of 2020 we were presented with the opportunity to step into the ranching industry full time. Over the first year true provision was granted; God provided abundant rain and grass, the ability to share what we were given, lessons learned and mentors that guided us well. Since then we have grown in our knowledge of the ranches specific soils, grasses, and our cow herd giving us the ability to understand more fully what management practices are best suited. Time has brought drought, struggle and true humility. This business can thrive or fail depending on many factors.
